The Habit Of ‘Do-ItNow’
We generally wait for the most suitable time to begin with something, be it a new job or a new business or even picking up a simple habit. Many a time it is procrastination that causes the delay in your plans. The beauty is in the ‘NOW’. Try and get to do something that you can do in the ‘now’, in the present. Believe in the present to have a better future! You can never travel back in the past and get back your
time lost; you can always make sure you utilize your time to get the best out of yourself.
As Thich Nhat Hanh (Vietnamese Monk, global spiritual leader) rightly said,
“The past is gone, the future is not yet here, and if we do not go back to ourselves in the present moment, we cannot be in touch with life.” Get on with your life ‘now’ and reap the benefits in your future.
I have a firm belief, “do it or don’t do it but don’t cry over it”. When you simply follow ‘do it now’ and apply it with 5 Minutes Habit, you actually overcome your internal resistance which stops you to move upwards. When you follow the ‘do it now with 5 Minutes Habit’, you actually break your fears, you come out of your comfort zone. This 5 minutes habit with ‘do it now’ triggers your mind to take tiny steps and every tiny step is an indication of growth, indication of a positive movement. Do it now
rather than validating your thoughts, do it now instead of wasting time for no reasons!
‘Do it now’ is very much a ‘currently happening thing or a present tense thing’. You can’t change your past. Your past is one aspect of your life and it helps you shape your present. All that you wish to do you can do in the present. ‘Do it now’ habit provokes you to take an immediate action before your energy levels go down. ‘Do it now habit’ inspires you to take an action before you doubt your
own thoughts about this action. Good changes and good habits do not need validation!
