The Habits of Creative Visualization “To bring anything into your life, imagine that it is already there.”
—Richard Bach (American writer)
More often than not, we end up talking about our past, ponder over the mistakes we did, and we do talk about the future, we think about our future, but it is not with great conviction. I suggest, we stop dwelling in the past, and look at our bright future, think of everything that you want now and, in the future, and there lies the power of visualization. What is visualization? It is a powerful technique to create images in mind; you just need to imagine what you wish to have. I found a quote by Tony (Anthony) Robbins (American author, Life coach and Philanthropist)
“Whatever you hold in your mind on a consistent basis is exactly what you will experience in your life.” It
tells us to visualize all that you want or hold the images of things you wish to have, in our mind and keep practicing with conviction and be consistent, and you will experience all that you wished for in reality.
I would like to share my experience with visualization. I always wished to hold a seminar someday and
to be honest, I wasn’t prepared for it. With no proper content of the habit programme to be delivered, I was really uncertain about everything that it takes for one to hold such seminars and deliver effortlessly. “How would institutions invite me for their seminars?”
“How can I conduct my own seminars?”;
“How can I prepare myself for this?”; these questions hounded my mind.
I soon found the answer to all these questions, I began visualizing it. In fact, I began to visualize all the goals I had set and gradually I could achieve some of those pretty soon. The basic idea is to make it happen twice, first in mind, then in reality! It is suggested to visualize your goals just after the meditation because your body is at peace and in a calmer state. Use your all senses while visualizing your goals.
