Well, what are these goals and why must we set goals?? I wasn’t aware of ‘setting goals’, although I always knew I had to do well in life, but how do I achieve what I want?! I remember one such incident, back in the college days, one of our professors said something about goals and he asked us students to set their ‘goals’ in life. I always thought this concept of ‘setting goals’ was meant only for the rich. I soon realized I was wrong; we all must cultivate the habit of setting our goals in life.

If you try and understand the meaning of this quote you will know; a ‘goal’ is basically an on-going process to chase or to pursue something; may involve obstacles which you will have to face and overcome; that is worthy of all the pain and hardship you endured, until you finally accomplish, do everything in you might to achieve your ‘goal ‘. Not everything comes easy, but if you have the will
to set and achieve your goals, nothing can stop you. Your goals are like a GPS system which guides you wherever you want to go. Without goals, a person is actually directionless.

We all are aware of the expression ‘Health is wealth’; it tops my list of priorities. Mental and physical health both are of prime importance. We live in a faced-paced life, thus ignoring our health unless it becomes a major concern for us. We can still take some time out of our busy schedules and look after ourselves, fitness is as important as any other aspect for a better life. It is pointless to ignore
health goals and run after goals. If one is healthy, one can achieve all that one wants.
When you are all set to write your goals, remember your goals should be ‘SMART’; here is how this works:
The driving force to take action is to write your goals daily and set the tone for the entire day.
A Goal must be your ‘SMART’ Strategy

  1. Your Goal must be Specific.
  2. Your Goal must be Measurable.
  3. Your Goal must be Achievable.
  4. Your Goal must be Realistic.
  5. Your Goal must consider the Time.
    How to Write Goals:
    Begin with writing short term goals and manifest them through your designed affirmations. This practice will lead you to write bigger goals and you will know how to achieve them. You can also set the dates you want to reach your goals in time or on time. You can also practice the ‘Huna Philosophy’, basically known as the Hawaiian Spiritualism, which says “Bless that which you want”. It means you must bless your goals, bless all that you want. By practising this mechanism, you can see them turn into reality. Make it your habit. Writing down daily goals means directing your thoughts to your mind and daily declaring that this is one of the most crucial elements of your life. No goals, no growth. No clarity, no change. List down your goals in life.
